He led transformation projects to support organisations to achieve its strategic objectives, as well as leading several internal controls assignments for real estate and construction companies
He is also a trainer and public speaker in risk management, corporate governance and internal audit
Several risk based internal audit engagements for various corporate in Kuwait and MENA have also been driven by his expertise.
Hesham has interacted with various Audit Committees and Executive Managements of leading corporates to understand their expectations and risk perception in developing a long term audit plan and to present internal audit value add achievements such as, strengthening control framework, institutionalizing the process, cost saving opportunities, fraud indicators, etc.
He has developed corporate risk assessment criteria matrix, conducted workshops to identify quantify and prioritize risks, evaluated controls to identify gaps and developed action plan to mitigate the risks.
Hesham has been responsible for several engagements for corporate governance and compliance advisory services. The scope included review of the governance structure, policies and procedures and other requirements in line with regulatory requirements.
He has led the many engagements across industry sectors for developing and updating policies and procedures and has performed many business process reengineering projects and has a vast exposure on core processes of the sector.
